This campaign has been setup to support the people of Mankwi village in Bafut. An over sixty year old woman was reportedly raped by Cameroonian soldiers in the locality of Bafut- North West Region is battling for survival. She is in gross pain and requires our community for support. The money raised will go a long way to support the victims of this gruesome attack in this village. The story as narrated by one of the daughters (names withheld) taking care of the woman insists that two soldiers raped her mother in Mankwi village in Bafut as military men from the 5th military legion in Bamenda invaded the community.

Her daughter continue to explain, they have not received any help from authorities to treat our mother. No visit from either the military or administration. We are raising this campaign to address the issue.

DAC has extended its support by contributing $1000 to assist this family and all other families whom as a result of this incidence either found themsleve IDPs or refugees. We are calling on our community and all other groups and Local Government Areas to put together all their community to support this campaign.
